For new applicants, you will need to submit:

1. Two letters of reference.
2. An essay of approximately 500 words describing your educational plans, your service philosophy, your spiritual journey, and why you think you meet the qualifying criteria for this scholarship.

3. Submit evidence of acceptance by the college or university of the student's choice.

References: 
Each recommendation must be a signed letter. It shall describe the author’s relationship with and knowledge of the applicant, and should address the following issues, as appropriate: Christian character, commitment to service, concern for others, personal promise and initiative, ability, self‐discipline, responsibility, emotional and spiritual maturity, integrity, church involvement, and preparation for college.

1. Church reference: Must be an elder of your congregation of the Churches of Christ, or if there are no elders, a minister or other leader of the congregation.

2. Personal reference: A non‐family adult who knows your academic capabilities, your service activities, and your character.

 

Essay:

Evidence of Acceptance:
