SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

The Church of Christ Foundation has established a scholarship program to provide assistance to college students in congregations of the Churches of Christ in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties of southern California. Any student attending, or planning to attend a college or university affiliated with Churches of Christ* are encouraged to apply. Scholarships generally range from $1,500 to $3,000, often renewable by application each year.

Applications must be accompanied by a written recommendation from the elders or leadership of the local Church of Christ where they are members and must have demonstrated exceptional qualities of service, maturity and Christian character. Scholarships are paid directly to the college in which the student enrolls to be credited to the recipient’s account. Completed applications must be submitted by April 30 of the year the student is matriculating. Scholarships are awarded by June 30 of the same year.
